Schmetz 135×17 Titanium Nitride (TN) Hard Coated Needles

Ultra hard Titanium Nitride coating on top of a protective hard chrome layer provides a harder needle tip that is more than twice as hard as standard chrome plating for increased needle life. This excellent wear resistance means less needle breakage, lower needle consumption, higher productivity and lower production costs.

The coating also provides full corrosion protection of the needle surface and gives a slightly anti-adhesive needle surface which helps minimize clogging of the needle eye and long groove when sewing materials like synthetics and foam.
